One nanometer (nm) is one billionth, or 10<sup>-9<\/sup> of a meter. After treatment, these surfaces can become super hydrophobic. This means that these surfaces are modified and therefore have a water repellent characteristic. This makes easier cleaning possible (easy-to-clean).<\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-6\"><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Such treated surfaces are chemically stable.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">After the appropriate product has been applied to the cleaned material, the nanoparticles are rearranged to the desired structure. Metal, glass, textiles, plastics, wood and mineral surfaces can be treated. Use a nano coating for example in bathrooms, on wooden garden furniture or as self-cleaning facade protection.
